Annotation | The authors review developments made by the Older People's Psychological Service in East Kent since 2010 to ensure that service users are involved. They outline results of a case study collaboration between a clinician, a person with dementia and a psychology student, who investigated good practice and problem areas in service user involvement, and commented on the title, remit and activities of the new Kent and Medway Partnership Trust Dementia Service User Envoy position. They also discuss Forget-Me-Nots (the dementia service user forum), and describe activities and the inclusion of the group in the wider dementia service user involvement community. (RH). |
