AnnotationThe BUPA Health Pulse 2010 International Healthcare Survey is based on interviews by Ipsos MORI with 12,262 people across 12 countries: Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Spain, UK and USA. The patterns described are common to a much larger number of countries. The report is in three main parts: an analysis of the ageing process in different societies and its impact on population and volume of care needs; an analysis of support systems required to look after older people in need of care; and a discussion of the key policy implications.
