Annotation | NHS Education in Scotland (NES) in partnership with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and others help to deliver the Scottish Government's aspirations for health and social care, including the National Dementia Strategy. One aspect of the strategy is the National Dementia Champions Programme, which is an educational initiative preparing NHS and social services staff to delivering improvements in general hospitals for people with dementia and their families. This article by members of the Programme's team reports on the Programme's success in relation to awareness raising and action planning, for example. They outline the indicators which have been incorporated in the 'Supporting change workbook' devised to further the Programme's work. (RH). |
