Annotation | Cognitive stimulation therapy (CST) is an evidence-based psychosocial intervention for people with dementia. CST involves 14 sessions of themed activities, and is usually delivered in a group. NICE (the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) has recommended its use for people with mild to moderate dementia. The authors describe efforts to develop a consistent provision of CST programmes across one NHS Trust. (RH). |
