| Annotation | The purpose of this briefing is to examine the ageing of the ethnic minority populations of England and Wales as revealed by the 2011 Census. It complements the 2010 CPA/Runnymede report, 'The future ageing of the ethnic minority population of England and Wales', which used the 2001 Census as a base, to project ethnic minority ageing for England and Wales to 2051. The ageing characteristics of individual ethnic groups are examined and compared through key statistics and 'population pyramids' for each group. (RH). |
