Annotation | This brief editorial explores ethical issues around diagnostic radiological examinations for frail older cancer patients, questioning whether such examinations are worthwhile. All too often these patients undergo radiological examinations according to social and family resources rather than for clinical reasons. In order to perform a radiological assessment of these patients, the results of a Multidimensional Geriatric Evaluation may be helpful to clinical radiologists and should be carefully considered.
