Annotation | There is a small but growing literature on the therapeutic use of narrative practices with groups including older people. This article aims to build on existing practice-based literature by outlining the history and theoretical background of narrative therapy, and using two case examples which demonstrate how specific narrative practices can support older people. It ends with a short discussion on why narrative practices may be especially appropriate for use with older people. (RH). |
