Annotation | The Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, north London has undertaken to deliver the National Dementia Strategy (2009) as part of a wider service improvement plan for older people. The hospital's lead nurse for dementia outlines the training undertaken, the use of non-clinical interventions such as complementary therapy, and changes to the physical environment. Further project have been proposed, including collaboration with neighbouring hospitals. (RH). |
