Annotation | The authors shares the findings from an evaluation of the Woodspring memory clinic service in Clevedon, Somerset. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with ten clients who had been seen at the memory clinic in the previous six months, to ascertain their experiences at different stages of using the memory service. Questions were also asked about the sensitivity of staff and the setting. Six themes were identified: timing; outcomes; information; staff; family and carers; and response to the memory clinic. While clients were generally satisfied with the service, they wanted choice on how and how much feedback they received. (RH). |
