Annotation | Suicide represents one of the main causes of death globally, with nearly one million suicides a year (World Health Organization, 2002). This paper reviews recent research on the epidemiology of suicidal behaviour and suicidal ideation in older adults. The focus is on risk factors and clinical implications.
