Annotation | The authors describe a life story project conducted on a busy assessment ward for older people with dementia that brought together the skills of three healthcare support workers paired with three speech and language therapy students. These workers and students worked alongside three patients and their families to develop a life story record. The authors present the project plan used, and conclude that careful planning and preparation results in something that is worthwhile for all those involved. (RH). |
