AnnotationThis paper aims is to illustrate the importance of multigenerational activities within the social housing sector, and to provide some examples of best practice. From the perspective of a social landlord (Peaks and Plains Housing Trust in Cheshire) the paper explains the importance of intergenerational practice and the role that social landlords can play in helping to build bridges between, and within, communities. The paper discusses some specific activities, including street soccer, a youth forum and a winter warmer event, that have engaged young people and multiple generations, and provides some feedback on these. The paper gives some examples for best practice that can be used by other housing providers and community activists. (RH).
