Annotation | This article describes programmes by government and non-government organisations in the Philippines that are working to improve the health and quality of life of its older citizens. In particular the study highlights the work of the Saint Francis of Assisi Medical and Surgical Clinic (SFAMSC) in providing cost-effective medical and health services to older people in that country.
