AnnotationA questionnaire was designed to assess the experiences of service users and their supporters immediately after attending appointments at memory assessment services in five localities in East Kent. The intention was to identify good practice and identify areas for improvement in respect of five key delivery principles of the NHS. Answers to four of the question suggest that the memory clinics are providing a good service, the main doubt being on answers of "somewhat" or "no" to the question, "Do you have a clear idea of what the next steps will be?". In total, 236 people completed the questionnaire. Of the 111 qualitative comments made on the questionnaire, 12 provided suggestions for improvement. Following this audit, the memory services are implementing improvements around information giving. The questionnaire is being re-evaluated, and a re-audit is planned after one year. (RH).
