Annotation | People with learning disabilities need to be able to acknowledge their loss and to mourn when someone close to them dies. They also need to be included in important decisions being made around their end of life care (especial;y their own). to be able to ask questions, and to have their emotional needs met and dying wishes recorded. This DVD was funded by the National Council for Palliative Care (NCPC) and the National End of Life Care Programme. In the DVD, people with learning disabilities tell their stories and share their wishes to support other people with learning disabilities to become more comfortable talking about dying, death and bereavement.
