AnnotationThis study represents independent research funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) School for Social Care Research (SSCR), which was conducted by the Social Policy Research Unit (SPRU) between June 2010 and February 2012. The study aimed to ascertain the evidence for adopting particular approaches to person-centred support for people with complex needs. These findings outline the key points from study, in which 22 people with complex needs, 23 carers and 22 members of specialist organisations were consulted on what they consider to be good support.
