Annotation | The authors describe the development and formal evaluation of a group for older people with memory problems. The group aimed to help members develop skills and coping strategies to manage their day-to-day memory problems more effectively, and incorporated strategies to maximise the potential of the group over the seven to eight week duration. To date, the group has run four times, with a total of 33 members from a range of ethnic groups. The outcomes were positive. The authors discuss which measures may best capture the work of the group.
