Annotation | The baby boomers had everything which previous generations did not: free education, free health care and remarkable personal liberties. However, it is the author's view that they have not valued this inheritance and have not fought to protect it for their children. Rather, they have squandered things they took for granted, notably the the good times experienced in the 1960s. The consequence is that their children are paying the price: the freedoms that the baby boomers fought for have been denied them. (RH). |
