Annotation | This special issue of Evidence & Policy features six papers from a seminar series funded by NORFACE (New Opportunities for Research Funding Agency Co-operation in Europe), a partnership between 14 research councils to increase co-operation in research and research policy in Europe. The papers consider developments in evidence-based policy in social care services in six European countries: Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Scotland and Sweden. An editorial draws attention to similarities and differences in approaches to research and policy-making styles between these countries and their relatively small populations. (RH). |
