| Annotation | The Training Advisory Committee of Age Concern England (ACE) seeks to improve the quality and quantity of training for all those who work with older people, on which this report attempts to establish an inventory. The report makes fifteen proposals for improving training and qualifications for working with older people in respect of the following sectors: the medical profession (general practice and geriatric medicine); nursing; dentistry; social workers and social care staff; other professionals involved with older people in the health context; social security staff; adult education and leisure; Age Concern organisations; staff in housing for older people; and other training providers.
