Annotation | The Aged Family Uganda (TAFU) is a non-government organisation whose major aim is to advocate and support older people in Uganda. This article reports on a survey on older Ugandans' life experiences conducted by TAFU in 2006 in partnership with Age Concern Devon through the International Federation on Ageing (IFA) Capacity Building Programme. It points to the need for policy solutions to problems such as poverty, isolation, HIV/AIDS, nutrition, environment and elder abuse. (RH). |
