Annotation	The ERA-AGE Project, was funded under the Sixth Framework Programme, whose aim is to promote interdisciplinary research and international collaboration in the field of ageing across Europe and this is the field of ERA-AGE focus. The network is coordinated by the New Dynamics Ageing Programme, based at the University of Sheffield. This is the final newsletter of the first phase of the Consortium's work. To mark the end of this phase and to launch the next one, ERA-AGE organised, in partnership with the EESC, a conference in Brussels on 2nd February 2009 devoted to the Future of Ageing Research in Europe.
