AnnotationThis issue of Eurohealth is largely devoted to health inequalities, drawing on discussions of a seminar held in May 2009 at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and organised in conjunction with the EU Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities. Many concerns over the extent and consequences of health inequalities between and within Members States have been raised by EU institutions, national governments and other stakeholders. These 12 articles look at a variety of health inequality issues across the EU and in the Netherlands, France, England, Sweden, Hungary, Germany and New Zealand. (KJ/RH).
