| Annotation | This article serves as an introduction to this special issue on learner-centred education in gerontology and geriatrics. The author discusses the origin of the special issue, a pre-conference workshop sponsored by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Gerontological Society of America in 2006.
