AnnotationWhile Holloway concedes that there is "some common sense" in what Bracken and Thomas say in their editorial about working with user/survivor and carer groups, the approach they have adopted is "strikingly similar to the anti-psychiatry movement of the 1970s". He questions their seeming belief that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirement within 'Standards for better health' has "quite the subversive impact" that they predict in its effect on psychiatric practice.
