Annotation | Most people say they would prefer to die at home, but many do not as end of life care has traditionally been neglected. This article looks at three examples of end of life care: the Liverpool Care Pathway; the Marie Curie End of Life Care Programme; and work by Norfolk PCT in partnership with Norfolk County Council using the Marie Curie Delivering Choice toolkit. Each in its own way aims to help those close to death. (RH). |
