AnnotationMortality is higher in older people living with HIV than in younger people. Increased longevity as a result of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) raises new questions about the best treatment for HIV. This short article reviews evidence on the side effects of HAART and on comorbidity problem of older people with HIV. (RH).
