Annotation | The home improvement agency (HIA) sector must move up a gear or two as the pace quickens to respond to society's wish to "stay put", even when frailty or ill health sets in. This article examines the policies that are driving the housing agenda and the housing options that are currently available to older people, stressing the need for consultation at all stages. An earlier version of this article was published in Working with Older People (vol 12, issue 3, September 2008). (RH). |
