AnnotationThe financial health of people in the UK has been the subject of political attention, with policy initiatives concentrating on matters such as financial inclusion. The Resolution Foundation is exploring whether a new national resource providing financial advice to people on low incomes could be established, funded through a public private partnership. This report draws together findings from two key strands of research and analysis. The first is defining and understanding the target group's financial characteristics in respect of savings, pensions, credit and debt, housing, financial capability and financial health. The second is developing service delivery options and considers: the customer base for the resource; the type of advice offered; the style of that advice; channels for delivering advice; the marketing challenge; and the operating model for delivering it.
