Annotation | An international and interdisciplinary journal devoted to publishing contributions to the understanding of human ageing, particularly from the social and behavioural sciences and humanities. Its interpretation of ageing is wide and includes all aspects of the human condition whether they relate to individuals, groups, institutions or societies. From volume 20, "Ageing Updates" was introduced; a section which will review particular themes, interests and issues from past volumes. Occasional special issues on single topics. Book reviews are included. Published eight times a year from 2008 (volume 28); previously, six times a year (change of cover design with volume 22) to 2007, volume 27; 4 times a year (volumes 4-15) and initially 3 times a year (1981-1983, volume 3).
