Annotation | National Falls Awareness Day (NFAD) was launched by Help the Aged in 2005 to raise awareness of the risk of falling as we age to promote prevention measures that can reduce the risk of falls. This report outlines a few of the NFAD events in 2008 across the UK. It also draws attention to the help the Aged Dangerous Pavements Campaign launched in 2007 to improve pavement safety. (RH). |
