AnnotationVolunteer-involving organisations (VIOs) and volunteer development agencies (VIAs) have expressed confusion about the sorts of information that should be collected about volunteers, what information is needed, and what information volunteers are willing to give. This publication provides guidance on the types of data to collect and when; how data should be collected and stored; and how to use monitoring data as an organisational tool. The publication was funded by Capacitybuilders as part of the ChangeUp programme delivered by the Volunteering Hub. (RH).
