Annotation | Help the Aged has produced this toolkit as part of its "Now let's talk money" campaign, which is designed to increase awareness of the products and services available to financially excluded consumers. The campaign aims to encourage people to ask for help when they need it, as well as to inform and encourage advisers to work together to co-ordinate provision and raise awareness of such provision so that the needs of excluded people are met more effectively. This toolkit explores reasons why older people should be among the target groups for the work of advice agencies and credit unions; what barriers exist for older people accessing their services; and how service providers can break down these barriers.
