Annotation | There needs to be a radical change in the way professionals approach the subject of death, if more people are to have a say on how they spend their final days. This article refers to the End of Life Care strategy and to research from the University of Lancaster End of Life Care Observatory. Care home staff confidence in consulting with and recording residents' end-of-life wishes is seen as a major barrier. (RH). |
