Annotation | The literature on Buddhist spirituality and religion as applied to ageing in academic, medical and other professional journals with a focus on geriatrics is sparse. The same is true for didactic and inspirational literature, albeit for different reasons. The author offers a few speculations on this phenomenon. Additionally, Asian and Asian-American experiences with spirituality and ageing have resulted in some memorable creative literature and is chronicled in memoirs. (RH). |
