| Annotation | This newsletter brings news of the ERA-AGE Project, funded under the Sixth Framework Programme, whose aim is to promote interdisciplinary research and international collaboration in the field of ageing across Europe and this is the field of ERA-AGE focus. ERA-AGE comprises 12 partners who are each public authorities responsible for the funding and coordination of national research programmes. The network is coordinated by the New Dynamics Ageing Programme, based at the University of Sheffield. A programme of pan-European meetings, good practice workshops, three good practice guides and a web-based database on European research programmes on ageing are planned, as well as network committee meetings. The newsletter carries all news of this five-year project as it develops. Further details of the ERA-AGE Project are available from the website. The project (Phase 1) ended in February 2009. ERA-AGE 2 began later in 2009. (KJ). |
