Annotation | The contribution of care homes to end of life care continues to be the subject of review within the development by the Department of Health (DH) of a national end of life strategy. This short paper presents publicly available data illustrating whether current provision of care homes with nursing is sufficient to meet local needs, and the consequences of inadequate levels of provision.
