Annotation | The Nuffield Council on Bioethics has established a Working Party (chair, Professor Tony Hope) to examine the ethical issues raised by degenerative neurological diseases which result in dementia. This consultation paper aims to provide background information and to seek answers to questions on some of the ethical issues that arise in connection with dementia. It includes focus on the following: person-centred care and personal identity; making decisions; aspects of care and support; and the needs of carers. (RH). |
