AnnotationThe European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) was established by the European Council in 1975, to contribute to the planning and design of better living and working conditions in Europe. This pamphlet outlines Eurofound's work around four areas of expertise: monitoring and surveying; industrial relations and workplace developments; living conditions and quality of life; and employment and competitiveness. Eurofound also carries out EU-wide surveys and has a network of European observatories providing information and analysis on its areas of expertise. (RH).
