Annotation | Those living with early stage Alzheimer's disease (AD) would benefit from speedy diagnosis, a process at the heart of the government's National Dementia Strategy. This article relates the examples of two people diagnosed with dementia in the early 50s, and who now act as ambassadors for the Alzheimer's Society, but also raise doubts about the Dementia Strategy's likely effectiveness.
