Annotation | The ODI was set up in December 2005 to help government departments work together more effectively on issues of disability; lead on projects that involve those with disabilities; and, ensure equality for disabled people is reflected in government's priorities. The 2008 report provides an update on the work being carried out to deliver the Government's vision of equality for disabled people by 2025. The current Minister for Disabled People is Jonathan Shaw.
