AnnotationFactors determining financial management assistance use by older people is investigated, along with the suitability of fit of the Andersen behaviour model. In a study sample of 5263 older respondents aged 70+ from the 2004 US Health and Retirement Study (HRS), the Andersen models successfully explains older people's financial management assistance use. Logistic regression analysis reveals that old age, education, difficulty managing finances, and physical limitations increase the likelihood of financial management assistance use by older people.
