Annotation | The MEOC research programme was jointly conducted by the Nuffield Institute for Health, University of Leeds and the PSSRU based at the LSE from 1992 until its completion at the end of 1996. The main aim of the programme was to describe, monitor and evaluate developments in local social care markets with particular reference to the key objectives of choice, cost-effectiveness and innovation specified in the 1989 White Paper, Caring for People. The aim of the MEOC Bulletin was to disseminate key findings of the research programme. Each Bulletin focused on different phases of the programme. (KJ). |
