| Annotation | The project eLiLL - e-Learning in Later Life - was funded by the e-Learning programme of the European Commission from February 2006 to January 2008. The project with partners in Spain, Slovakia, Finland, Czech Republic and Germany examined the current situation in the use of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by providers of education for older people in Europe, and aimed at promoting good practices amongst professionals and active senior students. This Bulletin focuses on projects and activities promoting digital literacy amongst older people. It presents examples of e-Learning and ICT training projects as well as considerations of some of the technical tools used. Included are also pedagogical approaches for work with seniors and ICT as well as results of research. The Bulletin acts as a final report of the programme. (English/German). (KJ/RH). |
