AnnotationThese four Updates provided information about the progress of the Mapping Study, a Department of Health commissioned study, designed to delineate the variations found in care management arrangements for older people and those with mental health problems, following the Care Programme Approach in 1991 and the community care legislation in 1993. The study started in 1996 and lasted five years, with three phases. Website updates superseded the published Update giving details of forthcoming publications from the study.
