| Annotation | The National Collaboration on Ageing Research (NCAR) was launched in November 2001 as a three year partnership with the Medical Research Council (MRC), Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), to stimulate interdisciplinary research in the field of ageing. A Cross-Council Committee determined the strategic direction of and financial support for the NCAR. These two newsletters were produced to publicise and update on NCAR's activities. (KJ). |
