Annotation | The bus pass travel arrangements for those over 60 years of age in England are changing from 1st April 2008, when anyone over 60 can enjoy free off-peak travel on local buses anywhere in England, rather than just within their own local authority using the new National Bus Concession. However, some authorities choose to fund additional benefits to their residents, and as a general rule, these will only be available to local residents. (KJ/RH). |
