Annotation | In June 2007, the Government published the consultation document, 'A framework for fairness: proposals for a Single Equality Bill for Great Britain'. Help the Aged seeks to make age discrimination illegal for healthcare, social care, insurance and financial services, and for a duty to be placed on public bodies - for example transport providers - to eliminate unlawful discrimination. This guide and questionnaire relate to these proposals. (RH). |
