Annotation | NHS bodies who run care homes or domiciliary agencies must immediately seek to register their services with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI). This was the first of a number of national recommendations in a report by the Healthcare Commission in July 2006 following an investigation into services for people with learning disabilities in Cornwall. This article considers the implications of the recommendations in the contest of the requirements of the Care Standards Act 2000. (RH). |
