Annotation | The main features of the Finnish health care and long-term care system are highlighted, and two ongoing national action plans are described in general. Three broad principles for the Finnish system and their solutions are suggested: accessibility, quality and financial sustainability. The report was discussed in two European Union sections (Health and Social Affairs), and uses the common objectives set out in COM(2004) 304 as guidance. (RH). |
